IVS Realty began in 1992 as an experiment. The
experiment was to see if we could actually sell
timeshare weeks on the resale market without
charging and up front fee of any kind! Well, we've
sold thousands of weeks and now, in 2004, the
experiment continues.
Clifford Hagberg
President of IVS Realty. Began his timeshare career
as the developer of the Ocean Club on Smuggler's
Beach in Bass River, MA. After selling the Ocean
Club in 1989, Mr. Hagberg worked in Europe as a
sales and marketing consultant for project in
England, Austria and throughout Europe. He returned
to the U. S. in 1991 and started IVS Realty. Mr.
Hagberg was the chairman of ARDA's Resale Task
Force that wrote the Code of Ethics for timeshare
resale companies. A speaker at many industry
events, a qualified expert witness, and still
involved in consulting, Mr. Hagberg is one of the
industry's leading experts in timeshare
resales.
Moira E. Fay
CEO of IVS Realty, Ms. Fay has an extensive
background in timeshare marketing and
administration. Having also worked in both the U.
S. and Europe, she brings an experienced outlook to
our marketing programs and has developed one of the
industry's most sophisticated computer programs to
assist us in tracking all of our inventory and
sales.
In 2004, IVS Realty joined forces with Defender
Management, Inc. from Myrtle Beach, SC to form
Defender Northeast. Defender Northeast is designed
to bring professional management services to
resorts in New England and the mid-Atlantic states.
